Hello sir i am cooperating as an agent now with my chinese freind and work as a translator between her and customers now i visit china on business visa from past 5 yearsbut have to go back after every 30 days i want to stay here for longer period so i want toknow the following things1- what kind of company can give the invitation for z category2- what are the step by step procedure to apply for residency permit3- is there any agency who can help me in doing this? And how much they charge for this4- i has good relations with many companies here so please tell me the cheap and best wayThanks and regards

First of all, the company should be filled in at the local Government or Municipality Office. After you entered China with Z visa, then, you can your company should apply for the residence permit at local PSB.  Generally, it is not necessary to apply through an agency for this processing. BTW, Z is work visa, you can ask a company for this only if you will work for it.

Sir the company is a registered company and they are willing that I work with them permanently as translator. For this they can provide me the invitation and job offer letter by which I think I can apply for z visa . The company is not very big can this be an issue?and after getting a Z what are the necessary documents to be provided to govt by company?as I already have several business F on my passport for china will this be any advantage?

It is ok if the company is registered and permited to employ foreigners. Generally, the compamy needs to provide its business license and from you the working contract.  Your previous F visas are helpful.

Now the thung i wanna ask is what all documents are needed by company to apply for my working visa and resudent permit as i am in jieyang city a relatively small ciry in guangdong province nd where to apply for resident permit i mean the local police station or some special department as no one here know much about it ... First, your Chinese employer should provide you the Confirmation Letter for Foreign Experts from the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs of the PRC and the Employment Certificate for Foreigners (Work Permit) issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the PRC. Then you may take them back to your country to apply for the Z work visa. After you enter China with the visa, you can go to the local Public security bureau to apply for the residence permit within 30 days of your entry.
