About:Chinese Consulates in South Korea

Where and how can I extend my double entry visa?

Hi I have a double entry for China. Im now in Korea enter before 05JAN2013. What can i do, return on the 04 JAN and make and make an extension - like Ill take a boat to Shangai from China?

Or can i do something here at the consulate - like relength the ENTER BEFORE date, or is this the same as applying for a new visa? Therefore I am on my way to Japan, I can do this there as well, via a travelagency probably??? Thx in advance

Hi, so you mean to you enter China on the 04 Jan? if yes, you can stay full days as duration each stay issued to your visa and you can apply for an extension within China, e,g. at Shanghai PSB. You can either do this in person or through an agency.

So if Ill be back in China before the 05JAN2013 there wont be a problem, and can relength at a PSB office. But is there possibitly that I can rechange this enter before date on the same visa, so that I dont need to pay for a whole new one? Or is this not possible? Thnk you in advance! Grtz Filip

No, visa can not be changed after issue. If you can not enter before that very date, it expires and you need to apply for a new visa.

One question left, can I apply here in Busan at the travelling centers proposed on your website, and what kind of documents do I need for this. Second, I've read something that therefore I am a foreigner in Korea, I should have a 6 month visa for Korea. What can I do? I only have a permission for 3 months(normal procedure, passport was stamped on arrival in Incheon). Greetings Filip

I am afraid not, you can not apply in Busan if you do not have an ARC valid for more than 6 months.

If apply in Japan, you need to apply through a local travel agency with Entry Record or valid visa. You can contact the embassy or consulate directly for more details.
