3 months till my passport expires

I am from Philippines planned to go to Hongkong for my Honeymoon on February 2013 but my passport will expire on May 2013. I was about to booked a flight but the website states at least 7 months til the passport expires. I also take a look on Hongkong immigration it states that at least 1 month. I am a bit confused at the moment which one to follow. I don't want to booked it yet as I dont want to take risk with such amount of money for the flights and hotels. Please help me.

You are right the Hk immigration office only requires that your passport should be still with over 30 days validity left when you leave Hk, but your local filipino immigration office may require that your passport should be with more than 7 months left when you leave the country.
