About:Chinese Embassy in Nepal

Transit visa for few hour transit in Hong Kong

I am going to Manila Philippines for the study and I have a transit around 3.5 hrs in Hong Kong. As I heard, it needs transit visa even we stay inside the airport. It would be great, if I know the what kind of the documens should i submit to get it and how long it will take after submitting an application.

Hi, you can submit your application to Chinese embassy in Nepal with your flight ticket and passport, application form for Hong Kong and Philippine visa if any. Generally, the processing takes 4 working days, but it will take longer time if the approval by HK Immigration Department is required.

I have applied for Philippines visa. If I get it, do I need to apply for Hong Kong visa for airport transit only. y transit is in Hong Kong is around 3.5 hrs.
