About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

Validity of L Visa

I have a question:-
I am a Malaysia citizen. I am going to apply multi-entries L Visa. If I am going to China on this end of Dec 2012, and will only come back to Malaysia on Feb 2013 (which is more than 30 days). And in within that period, I will go to HK for few days (but the date is not decided yet).
So, when I first land on China in the end of Dec 2012, will there be any problem when I pass through the custom? Do I need to show my return flight itinerary (KL - Shanghai)? I will only able to decide which date I will go to HK after I enter to China (maybe the second or third weeks).

Hi, if you get a multiple entry visa, you can visit HK as you like when you are in China. But please check your visa carefully, you can only stay in China for certain days as what written on it as "Duration of each entry", that is to say you have to leave mainland every certain days. Flight itnerary is not required for the first entry.

CVASC is short for China Visa Application Service Center. If there is such a center opened in your living place, you do have to apply for the visa from the center unless you hold official or service passport.
