About:China Transit Visa

Transit Visa through Shanghai next week

My husband and I are British and have been living in Singapore for some time. We are transiting through Shanghai next week, en route to Canada, with 3 hours between our SQ and AC flights. Am I right that we need transit visas and is the form the same one as for others (I accessed it through the link above.
Your swift response would be really appraciated.

Hi, as I know, visa is not required if you will not leave the airport during the 3 hours stopover.
