Conformation Of Invitation By Duly Authorized Unit

I am an american citizen in the Philippines. For business Visas, I heard that an invitation on business stationary was not enough, that they would have to get a CONFIRMATION LETTER OF INVITATION form from the chinese DFA. Is this true ?Or in Manila is it still enough to just have the letter ?

If your partner in China is state-owned or state-controlled, the invitation letter from your partner will be enough. However, if your partner is a private enterprise, the confirmation of invitation from the local government office is necessary.
