L visa extension shanghai

Hi , I am currently on a Z visa . My husband is Nigerian and on a Tourist visa .
What do i need to extend his L visa just for 30days , as his visa expires soon. By the way that would be his first extension. My visa is currently at the PSB in Pudong for renewal and will come up a few days after my husband's visa expires. After I get my Z visa , I think I can sponsor him as a dependent . Kindly confirm.

Your husband may just go to the local public security bureau to apply for the extension of stay with his passport, proof of longer stay in China, application form which can be got at the office there and the fee. You are right, your husband may be able to get a dependent one based on your Z visa to stay with you in China within the validity of your working contract.

Hi,
I'm the same. I am living in China on a Z type and my husband is of Nigerian descent however he is not in here as yet. My agent told me its too late for him to come on my Z type (like a family sponsorship) as he was suppose to come with when I first arrived 3-4 months ago. I don't know what to do as I am happy here just not complete as he's not here with me :(
I have been seeking help and advise where I can. My agent have been quick to answer a quick no but I am really starting to see what their like and what they're willing to do and what they're not. I am not entirely happy with this but I am still trying and seeking! Please any help or guidance will be much appreciated = thanks...

Dear, if you work in PRC, you must obtain the residence permit. You can ask your husband to apply for S type. You can issue an invitation letter to him. He can prepare all the requirements first and then apply for it.
