From Kunming To Shilin Stone Forest And Yuanyang Hani Rice Terrance

How to travel from KM to Shilin Stone Forest and then to Yunyang Hani Rice Terrance or verce versa? Which is the fastest type of transportation? How much and the timing? Preferrably night sleeper. Accomodation in Yunyang Hani Rice Terrance.

KM East Coach Station (at the East 3rd Ring Road area) has regular buses to the site. The frequency is 20-30 minutes in peak season and about 40 minutes in low season. No direct bus from the Stone Forest to Yuanyang. You need to go to KM first. There are day shift and night buses from KM Bus Terminal to Yuanyang. During the day there is a high-speed passenger bus. The night service is a sleeper bus, starting at about 20:00 and will arrive at the new Yuanyang County (Nansha) at about 05:30 the next day. Then you can find nonstop bus to the Terraced Fields.
