I am a dragon female and a dear and beloved friend, a dog, is hopelessly in love with me.

We have had many wonderful evenings out, cultural outings, plays, shopping, restaurants, share hobbies and interests, can talk for hours, love hanging out. We're not lovers. We've also had some roaring "disagreements" and disappointments, mostly with his feelings being the hurt ones. He somewhat dismisses the dragon/dog thing, thinks I read too much into that.
