About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

applying for group visas for friends

hi, i'm a malaysian, organizing a group of friends to visit china-tianjin,chengdu..etc..could i apply on behalf of these people after they fill up the visa application form? could i collect on their behalf as well? what are the required forms/documents/copies/photos?

Yes, you can handle the applicaitons on their behalf. Both submission and collection as well. For tourism, you need to apply for tourist L visa, the documents are clearly listed on the website for Malaysian. If you travel with a travel agency in a group, you can also apply for a group visa, which is cheap per person. The group application form by the travel agency is required.
