i have a chinese friend he send me a Invitation to vist him in xi'an. What type i'll get ? can i get one for 3 months or 6 months, and how much the Price?

You can apply for a visit L, if this is your first time to visit China, you can only get a single entry valid for 3 months with 30 days as duration. About the price, you may need to contact the embassy directly.
