About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Luggage checked through?

We are flying Air New Zealand to Shanghai Pudong then Virfin Atlantic to London Heathrow - will we have to get our suitcases and check in again?

If your luggage is checked-in through at your first flight, you have no need to check in again. If not, you need to check-in again.

This is incorrect. Information from Air NZ: "Shanghai does not permit baggage interlining. All passengers must collect bags in Shanghai, clear immigration/customs and proceed to departures to check in for their connecting flight on 1st floor"
