Working Z visa?

I am an American but have been living and working in Korea for the past year and a half. I am planning to move to China in March to start working. Am I able to get the Z visa here in Korea or in Hong Kong? Or do I have to go home first in order to recieve it?

I am afraid you can not get a work Z visa in Korea if your ARC is going to expire soon. Recently, the service for China visa application stopped in HK, you may have to apply in US.
