Application for an Australian resident on a British passport

I am an Australian resident on a British passport and wish to travel to China and Hong Kong as a tourist. I have been to both previously in 1984. Could you please advise what visas are required and do I have to supply copies of visa for my previous visit to China? Also where do I apply and what cost is involved. Thank you.

You need to apply for a China tourist visa in advance from CVASC in Australia according to the place where you reside. Original and copies of previous Chinese visa are required if you have. Visa is not required for you to Hong Kong. Fee is AUD 98.5 for a single entry under regular processing.
