About:China Visa

Visas for in transit passengers

We are Canadian and have a 10hr layover in Shanghai before we continue on to Singapore. We would love to take the train downtown. Do we need a Visa to leave the airport?

No, you are not required visa to transit in Shanghai within 48 hours and you are allowed to go out to the city.
