About:Chinese Embassy in Germany

flying through Hangzhou and Guangzhou, do I need a visa?

I am Australian living in Berlin with a residency permit, l am flying through with southern airlines, then flying on to Australia return. I will fly through Hangzhou and Guangzhou. Do I need it while in transit? or does someone know the number for calling to ask at these airports? The chinese embassy in berlin could not answer this question and ask me to call the airport to find out.

So, you need to transit in two cities on you way to Australia? If yes, it is not required if the stopover is less than 24 hours. But you need to get a stay permit when you arrive at the first airport, let's say the one in Hanghzhou.
