About:Jinshanling Great Wall

Does the cable way carry you up to the Wall, or just go along it?

My grandmother is visiting Beijing this December, and I would like to take her to a (relatively) wild Wall. Unfortunately, she's 78, so hiking up and down mountains really isn't an option. Would we be able to take the cable car from the base of the mountain to the top of Jinshanling, as at Mutianyu?

Thanks,
David

Hi David.

I wouldn't advice this cause I've heard that sometimes, the cable car is not functional.
If you do decide to go though, take the tourist bus. It will save you a lot of worries.
