travel from shaoyang city to changsha

Question

I will be travelling for the above journey on 26 Nov 2012 at ~7PM. The train leaves too late and takes too long. Is there a bus that leaves close to this time? If so, how long does it take? If there isn't a bus is it likely that a taxi would travel the 300km distance?

Hi, you can go to the local East Bus Station to take a direct one to Changsha. Buses there are on schedule from 07:00 to 19:10 every 40min. It takes about 2.5h or longer for the journey. It is a little hard to find a taxi to run for such a long journey, but you can also try it.

Hi, actually, according to the latest schedule, the last bus from SY East Bus Station departs at 18:00. And as for your case, you can go to Baoqing Bus Station, where the buses for Changsha run from 13:00 to 21:00. It means that the last bus there leaves at 21:00.
