I'm a Canadian National visiting Egypt, but I just got an offer to work for ChinaESL.

Employer is asking for a copy of my passport in order to send me an invitation letter. Employer says they will pay for my Visa, but I have to apply? Do I go to the Chinese Consulate of Egypt to apply? How do I get the work permit?
