Does a Russian need a visa to go to Hong Kong?

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am a Russian living in Japan. I am married to am American and have a Russian child. We want to go to Hong Kong as tourists for 4 days. Do I and my child have to apply for visas? If yes, may I apply myself or will I have to apply through a travel agency?
Thank you very much.
