Do I need government office authorized invitation?

Hi, I want to visit China for business purpose and I received the invitation from our China office in company pad with sealed and signed. Will it be enough? Do I need the invitation authorized by the local government office? If yes then which office? Because my China office says the invitation they sent to me is enough.
