About:Shenzhen Travel

How I can go to Nearest part of Great Wall from Shenzhen alongwith spouse and 2 kids-expense and way

Hope I will be in SZ City between 11-13 December 2012. I need comparatively a cheapest way to go to Great wall , from there I will back to Bangladesh. What is the possible way and tentative cost, please let me know.

Actually, almost all the Great Wall sections are in northern China, but SZ is a city in southern China. So no a very close one can to reached. Since you wanna go back to Bangladesh, I suggest you go to Beijing to enjoy the nearby sections of Great Wall, such as Badaling, Mutianyu and Jiankou.

From SZ, it is recommended to take a flight to Beijing. Generally, it costs about 200USD.
It will be much cheaper by train, only CNY280 per person, but it takes about 24h or longer for the whole journey.
