About:Chinese Embassy in UAE

Filipino Transit Passenger who wants to visit The Great Wall during lay over period

I wil be having over 9 Hr. lay over in Beijing thus, I'd like to visit The Great Wall of China. Is there visa exemption in this regard? Please advise.

See below flights details which I'm going to take and the proposed itenerary from local travel agency as well:

Flight Departure: (Dubai to Manila)
Dubai (DXB) - Depart on Dec. 25, 2012; 05:10 PM
Beijing (PEK) - Arrive on Dec. 26, 2012; 05:00 AM
Connecting Flight: (Beijing to Manila)
Beijing (PEK) - Depart on Dec. 26, 2012; 04:00 PM
Manila (MNL) - Arrive on Dec. 26, 2012; 10:30 PM

You need to apply for a transit visa in advance from Chinese embassy or consulate in advance.
