Application form

for section 2.5 and 2.8 of the application; is it acceptable to put the initial hotel/hostel details as a form of contact. I am planning to travel through china and only have booked my first place of stay, i have not any concrete plans as to where i will be staying throughout my trip. Will this affect my application?
