About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

Do I need to get transit visa? What form should I fill?

I am a permanent resident in Australia and holding a Sri Lankan passport.
I am planning to travel to Sri Lanka in December via Hong Kong and transit is
going to be only 3 hours.

You do need to apply for a Hk transit visa from the China embassy or consulate in Australia in advance.
