@Connecting Flights - Time Required and Process for Getting from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2 in Beijing
Hello,
I am flying to there from Toronto on Air Canada and will arrive at 16:50. I am connecting to a flight to Nanjing on China Eastern Airline that departs at 19:45. It appears I will arrive into Terminal 3 and the China Eastern Airline flight appears to depart from Terminal 2. I will not have to claim luggage (I am carrying my luggage onto the Air Canada flight) and am wondering if you can explain the process I will need to go through to get to the gate for my connecting flight and answer the following questions.
-- Will I have sufficient time to make my connection?
-- When I get to Terminal 2, do I need to go back through security before going to the China Eastern Airline gate? Also, if I don't have a boarding pass for China Eastern Airline, will I first need to go through ticketing? (I can't seem to get clarification from the airline about how far in advance I can check-in for my flight in order to print a boarding pass.)
-- Is the best method to get from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2 the "Free Ferry Bus Service"? If so, where do I go to catch the bus and will it be clearly marked in English? That is, how easy will it be for me to find and also to know which one to take and when to get off? (I want to make sure I am getting on the correct bus and getting off at the correct destination!)
Thank you for your assistance.
