Gates differences and connection times.

I have a guy coming in on Air China from UB arriving in Terminal 3 and catching a Air Canada to Toronto in terminal 3 he has a connection time of 70 mins. Can you tell me the how close the gates are to one another? He is a inexperienced traveler and I am worried about him missing his flight. Can you tell me how close the gates are please?
