About:China Train

Buying Tickets at a Station not on the Route?

I want to buy tickets from a station which is not on the way of the train. Example: Ticket for haikou to shanghai from xi'an. Is this possible?

Maybe, since stations in big cities, like Beijing, Xian, Shanghai, you can buy most of the tickets. But you need to pay some service charge around CNY10.
