We are planning to visit beijing by mid april 2013. And we would like to have a side trip to harbin. Is it still cold by mid april in harbin? Is there a flight from beijing to harbin? And how long does the flight takes from beijing to harbin? Do we have to file another visa application going to harbin from beijing?

It is still a little bit cold in April and the temperature is around 7C in the daytime. There is flight available from Beijing to Harbin and the journey takes about 2 hours. For the visa, you will only need to appy for a single entry visa to visit these two cities.
