About:China Tourist Visa

I'd like to ask about the type of visa for treatment in China and what documents do you required?

Do you accept a copy from the medical invitation letter?
I sent an email to a hospital in China and they have sent to me a medical invitation letter,my wife and my son also have mentioned in the invitation letter as companions.

I think a L tourist visa is proper. Medical invitation letter will be accepted, but the original one will be better than the copy.
