We been to Nepal and we like the remoteness. We have climb Mt Ophir and Mt Kinabalu in Malaysia. We will be attempting Mt. Rinjanni in October 2012. We are not adverse to camping on trail. We prefer to have guides and stay in guest houses. We are 50+ and we like the outdoors.

If you like outdoor activities, I think Ali Mountain and Yu Mountain near Gaoxiong are good places for you. The best time to visit these places is from March to April.
