About:China Tourist Visa

180 day visa

I want to go to China on a 180 day L VISA, but it is difficult for me to go to the embassy myself.
The tourist company also said they can not do that for me. Is there anything else I can do?

Hi, if you live in Queenland, you need to submit your application to CVASC in Brisbane. The office accept application by post, you can refer to http://www.visaforchina.org/BNE_EN/applybypost/index.shtml for detailed procedure and requirements.

Thank you for your response. I was told that I have to apply in person.
I just called the embassy once more, and was told a different story, yet again.
I was just told that I can apply for a 90 day single entry visa by post.
I do not want to send in my application or book flights until I have a straight answer.

Hello, I really need some answers. Everyone I call is telling something completely different.
I live in Brisbane, and want to go to China to stay with my Chinese husband and his family
for 90-180 days. I am not exactly sure when we will come back to Australia, because my husband
will be applying for his Australian spouse VISA while we are over there. So, we will come back to
Australia when that is finished. I have been told that I can not apply for a 180 day single entry visa
by post. I was told I have to do it in person. I just called to check again, and I was told that I can apply
for a 90 day single entry visa by post. Note, the period of validity is not 90 days, the time I will be staying
in China will be. Could someone please help me? I have asked travel agents, I have inquired at the embassy several times, but I just kept getting told something different. What do I do?

You can get such a China visa with your marriage certificate either in person or by post. The important is that you must provide all the necessary documents. If You do want an accurate answer, they only way is from the CVASC in Brisbane.
