transit at beijing capital airport

Question

I will arrive on Sunday 14th 13.10 to Capital Airport in Terminal 2.Then I have to wait 17.50 till the Chinese Eastern Air line (MU 2116) to go to Xi'an air port.So,I have two questions.Whether my baggage are loaded to the MU 2116 by Air Port it self or I have to clear them and put in to the belt again. And tell me the procedures to follow to get the MU 2116 Air Line.

First you have to ask the staff at the Transit Desk whether your airline company provide the transit service. If your airplane company offers this service, you do not need to clear them. There are clear sign boards in the airport for you to make a transit, so take it easy. If you have connecting tickets, you can just go to the certain area directly. If you do not have this kind of ticket, you have to make a transit and then go to wait for the plane.Hope it is clear for you.
