duration of student visa.

Question

Sir I received my Chinese Student Visa (X), but the duration of stay on the it is listed as “000”. What does that mean, and is that a cause for concern? I'm confused.. Please help me!!

It is all right, don't worry. You are required to apply for a residence permit within 30 days after entry. The visa expires after entry. Your residence permit will works as a multiple entrt permit which allows free exit and enter within its validity.
