Duration of visit in Shaolin temple

How long does it take to see the sights in the Shaolin Temple., including the Kong Fu Performance?. Is there a guided tour to show people around or tourists just wander around themselves.? Is it more tiring to walk around the Temple compared with Longmen Grottes ?
