L visa duration?

Hello.
I have been issued an L visa multiple entry valid for two years. How many days can I stay in China each year? Is 180 days the maximum?

It is written on the China visa page of your passport: Duration of Each Stay.

Thanks for the reply but does that mean I can leave for one day and return for another 90 days immediately afterwards? This is the confusion.

Yes, you can do this to get another 90 days immediately after.
