travelling to Shanghai with my family in transit.

i want to get glimpse of shanghai en route to melbourn. i will be staying in china for 8 hrs and will be travelling with my family which consist of my wife and 3 children. please suggest how i can get my transist visa g.

You can apply for transit visas in Indian if you plan to visit Shanghai during transit. Check the donsular district about the proper office to lodge in your application. Documents needed are your passport, application form, photo, onward air ticket and visa to Australia if necessary.
