Obtaining a Chinese tourist visa in Bangkok?

Hi, I have heard it is becoming incredibly difficult for foreign tourists in Thailand to obtain a Chinese tourist visa in Bangkok.

If I show my hotel bookings for China and my flight to Beijing, but only have a Thai tourist visa (which is perfectly valid), what are my chances of being able to get it at the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok?

Hi Steve, it is hard to say, but it is possible to get a visa there. So, just have a try to lodge in your application to the office on their working day.
