About:China Visa Exemption

Requirement for Visa while on a cruise ship

Need some advice as I'm getting conflicting views. We are Australian Citizens on an American cruise ship departing from Hong Kong. We stop in Sanya for the about 8 hours. Do we need a Visa to get off the ship

You need visa but you can get it upon arrival.
