About:China Customs Declaration

Can I bring in 5-10 kg baby formula for my niece?

I am going to travel to China from US. And my brother asked me to bring baby formula for his daughter. It might be worth $300 US dollar.
How could I do it? Do I need to declare? If yes, how much duty China Customs would require?

Thanks!

Hi, as for your case, you need declare and pay some tax.
According to the regulations, one person can take along 6 tins if one is more than 800 g and 24 tins can be taken in if it is less than 800 g.
You need pay 10% tax for the baby formula anyway.
