Requirements for a chinese business visa in the phils

am applying for a chinese business visa since i will be attending a sponsored event in shanghai. i cannot
secure an invitation from an authorized unit from china since the event organizer is a private organization. went to the chinese embassy and i was told to secure this one. the info, however, in the website states that we need a "Invitation Letter of Authorized Chinese Unit, or a Confirmation Letter of Invitation issued by an Authorized Chinese Unit, or an Invitation Letter issued by the Chinese companies, corporations and institutions other than above-mentioned Authorized Chinese Unit. "Reading thru this, it seems the invitation from the company other than by an authorized chinese unit is enough?

Yes, but if visa officers require for it, you have to follow them. It has been difficult and policy is changing every day.
