Hi, we are going to Harbin around Christmas time 2012, will the Ice Lantern Festival started at this time yet?If not, is there anything that we see in there? And where is the cheap place to skiing in that city? Thanks

According to the routine, the opening time of the Ice and Snow Festival is always on Jan. 5th every year, while the Ice Lantern Festival should open around Dec. 20. So you probably can see the ice lantern then. The skiing world at Double-Dragon Mountain (Erlongshan) is relatively cheap, so you can go there and have a try.
