About:Shanghai Maglev Train Ticket

Shanghai South Railway to Pudong Airport

If I want to take the Maglev train to Pudong Airport, what are my options? Does the Line 2 Subway connect to the Maglev station? May I purchase my ticket for the Maglev Train at that station to the Pudong Airport? What is the recommended route to take if I want to try the Magleve Train? How much time will it save me? At present I have calculated it would take miniumum two hours from Shanghai South Railway to Pudong Airport. Thank you.

You can take subway line 1 from Shanghai South Railway Station to People's Square and then take subway line 2 to Longyang Road. Then you could take the Maglev train at Longyang Road Station. You can purchase the ticket at the Maglev train Station. It may save you about 20 minutes. Well, a easier way for you is to take the airport shuttle bus line 7 directly from the south train station to Pudong Airport. It takes about one hour and 40 minutes.
