About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Can a foreigner who is visiting in the Philippines get Chinese visa from the Philippines?

Hi, I am currently in the Philippines and I wanted to fly to China next month. I am a Croatian citizen and stayed here in the Philippines for only 2 months. Would it be possible for me to get a visa from here?

Thank you and have a great day!

Yes, you can apply in Philippines with valid proof of residency there.

Hi Joe, what do you mean by proof of residency? my visa? I also referred this to an agency here but they insisted that I have to go to my country of origin before i can get a Chinese visa since i am a tourist here. Is that possible? thanks

if you are a tourist there, I am afraid you can not get a visa in Philippines. They require proof of residency or visa for application, which shows your status for work or study.
