About:China Embassy in Thailand

Can I get a 6 month visa that will be applicable for a visit in April 2013?

I am scheduled to travel to China on a visit April of 2013 but would like to get my visa early as I am also traveling to the US duri g the next few months.

To tell the truth, the validity of a visa is only 3 months, so it's advised to make the application about one months ahead of your planned entry. If you will be in US in the following months, I think you can enter China from Hk, and apply for the visa there later.
