Could anybody tell me about the accommodation reservation in Shanghai for 13h stopover?

indeed, we will be arriving from france with 2 kids at 7.00am and will have to stay about 13 hours before our next flight to sydney... with the time difference, we would like to get rest in a quiet place, do you think it is possible to make a reservation in the day?
