Visa for China for Thai / Canadian citizen. Okay on Canadian passport?

Both my Thai wife and I have Canadian passports. She will be entering Thailand on her Thai passport to live there soon.
Can she still get a visa for China in her Canadian passport as we will be travelling through UK, Europe, Russia, Mongolia and China by train?
Travelling for her will be much simpler on a Canadian passport - no visas required for UK or Europe.

Hi Mike, if your wife will apply for a China visa in Thailand, she is required to apply with her Thai passport and it is easy for her. China does not admit dual citizenship, if she applys with Canadian passport, she may be required to provide valid visa or residence permit for living in Thailand. I think it is not a problem to use Canadian passport to other countries after leaving China.
