About:China Visa Exemption

I am traveling on a cruise ship to Shangai and Hong Kong. What type of visa do I need?

Traveling with friends from many different countries. Are there countries where I will not need a visa

If your cruise ship stops in Shanghai only within mainland China, a single entry visa is enough. You do not need visa to HK.
