About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

I am travelling to Hong Kong on a NZ passport, I want to go for a day trip to China do I need a visa

Just a day trip to China then back to Hong Kong.

Visa is required if you want to enter mainland China. May I know which city you will visit? if it is Shenzhen or Zhuhai, you can get a SEZ (Special Economic Zone) visa upon arrival at the port.
